SHIP-TRAP day six  15 players remaining The bell rings for dinner at 6PM, and you're lead to that familiar door once again. The door opens with a sensation of warm, humid air, and there's the sight of a open staircase winding down. Ivan ushers you into an open cave before she locks the door after everyone. A large table is inexplicably set for as many places as there are people. You'll find dinner already set (though those that requested something else will receive that), and for those that have already were killed on previous days, you'll find their meal replaced with a framed portrait sketched in pencil. As you come to your conclusions about who to vote for, you can approach a table in a room to the side and write your vote before placing it in an ornate box. When you place your vote, there's the sound of a deep bell tolling. When you return to your place at the table, you'll find a glass of port waiting for you. [Hinata's resting his chin in his hand as he listens to Pearl's account. He'd gone over the bodies himself as much as he could, but...]
We found a bloody dagger, and Kashuu also had a stab wound? There's little reason for Kanesada to stab Kashuu in the shoulder before killing him, [but who really knows with these swords,] so doesn't it stand to reason that the only body that's been found with a stab-wound that could have come from a dagger is connected to that scene?
Not to mention... we're still missing another person. Melborn... carries a dagger, right? Could anyone tell if that was actually his weapon that we found?

[ Kasen listens to this with interest, though it's easily followed by a frown as they continue on. ]
So... It seems like Kashuu may have met Royce earlier in the night. But then what on Earth happened to Royce? If he and Kashuu fought, that's one thing, but...
[ He trails off uncertainly, since the Royce's disappearance really is the part he's thinking over here as he tries to piece this scenario together. ]

[ Kasen says that with certainty, and he shakes his head. ]
A sword of honor fights on until the very last. If Kashuu truly fought him, then he would not have stopped until one of them perished.
[ He frowns more, since that implication is obvious, and yet... ]
The sizable amount of blood Pearl mentioned—Was it enough to look like perhaps someone had bled out there?

[Did Kashuu rip off his disguise to reveal that he was Kaoru all along.]
There's... a lot of different ways to dispose of a body on this island, too. Or, well, not a lot, but some really permanent ones.

[ Kasen lapses into a longer silence as he looks down at his crossed arms, and then to the swords at his waist. His eyes of course fall on Kashuu and Tsurumaru's vessels, though they're at least on opposite sides. It's silly, but he has a feeling that Kashuu would be extra salty about being next to Tsurumaru, but. ]
Then perhaps it doesn't matter, ultimately. If Kashuu... [ A pause, and then he continues, ] If Kashuu killed Royce and disposed of the body, then we may as well assume he's dead. But with Kashuu himself dead, then we also have no one to blame for such a thing.
[ He looks up to Hinata, though his expression is serious and concerned. ]
Kashuu hadn't been doing well since Yamato's death. I admittedly would not be terribly surprised if he decided to take things into his own hands.
