SHIP-TRAP day four ![]() 28 players remaining The sun rises, and with it comes the loud gong of a bell, which signals that you're able to return to the grounds of the mansion. In fact, it seems like that same unseen force is compelling you to, since the longer you stay in the jungle, the more you feel the unsettling feeling of being watched. When you arrive, Iván is waiting at the foot of the stairs to greet you. "Good morning. Breakfast is waiting in the dining room." You have until 6PM to explore the grounds of the mansion and talk amongst yourselves. In addition, you can see the paper votes from the previous night's trial laid out by the guestbook if you want to confirm what you saw yesterday. character statuses character profiles private conversations graveyard The trial will start on August 20th. Though a special post for discussion will go up for voting, you are encouraged to discuss who to vote for throughout the day. |

But listening to the conversations around her is making her stomach too tight and tense to even imagine eating a bite.
Three people....she'd had hope, the day before with Stocking. But after how that ended, she finds it hard to be that hopeful again.]
... We... have to look for them, do we not...?
[She's not volunteering though, thanks.]

It's early still, they could just... be running late.
[Yep, all three of them. Running late. That's definitely it.
...Yeah, Hinata just sounds like he's repeating what others have said without really believing any of it.]
no subject
[She doesn't believe it either, but...]
Hinata, was it? I will leave it up to you then. [But there's nothing at all imperious or commanding about her tone--just tired.]
no subject
[Gotta make up for poor performance of screaming at Stocking's corpse, after all. He sounds equally as tired, though.]
no subject
Very well then... You must be certain to eat. You need to keep your strength up to properly tramp around this crude and barbaric jungle.
no subject
...You too, you know. Unless you're planning to stay inside all day?
[Look at him go, eating some food, though he doesn't really seem to be actually enjoying it.]

[Gi-ne watches Clarine for a minute, remembering her reactions to all the deaths yesterday... They weren't easy on anyone, but Gi-ne can tell all this is especially taking it's toll on Clarine.] I'll take care of it, don't worry. You should stay here, just in case.
[In case of what?? Who knows.]

...]
Yes, of course. I shall...remain and-- and... [... she can't even think of anything to cover it up, it really is just "Stay so I don't have to stumble across a body". Pretty cowardly all around.]
no subject
Remain and make sure everyone else that stays behind or shows up eats a proper meal and isn't hurt or anything. All this stuff isn't really healthy, even without people trying to kill each other. I bet people aren't looking after themselves properly, you make sure they're all okay.

[There's a pause as she thinks it over, and then...just relief. That's something she can do, and she won't even feel (as much) like a coward doing it.]
I shall certainly accomplish that. You may count on me, Gi-ne.

[Honestly, it's not just busy work. She is seriously concerned about everyone's eating habits.]

Yeah, we'll get on it right away. [He's itching to start now, but...]
You gonna be okay?

[She doesn't really know Horikawa well, but she recognizes that he's at least one of their group. It's not good, that he's missing.]
I am--fine, naturally. But what of you? And...your comrades?
no subject
[There's almost a scolding note underlying his tone, because apparently it's just his self-appointed duty to make sure no one starves themselves on murder island. As for her question:]
Horikawa's like, a real timely guy, so - we'll head out soon to look. [THAT DOESN'T ANSWER IT AT ALL but his expression probably gives away how concerned he is despite the evasiveness.]
no subject
... I do not wish to go out in that jungle, but he is one of your comrades. If you require more help, then... I shall offer my assistance as well.
[She's deathly afraid of finding another body, but she figures she owes Kashuu that much.]
no subject
...Thanks. [It's a very kind gesture and he'll acknowledge it as such, but still:] You should probably take a break after yesterday, though.
[Stocking had been pretty harsh on everyone.]

That would be...simply unfair!

[Clarine slumps a little in her chair, losing her perfect, prim posture for once.]
I wish to go home. I am tired of this...game.
