In fact, it seems like that same unseen force is compelling you to, since the longer you stay in the jungle, the more you feel the unsettling feeling of being watched. [The only reason Kashuu has anything like "hope" is because one of the missing faces is one he knows well this time, and he can't accept that so easily. So he looks over when she speaks up, brow furrowing briefly, and nods.]

[She doesn't really know Horikawa well, but she recognizes that he's at least one of their group. It's not good, that he's missing.]

[There's almost a scolding note underlying his tone, because apparently it's just his self-appointed duty to make sure no one starves themselves on murder island. As for her question:]

Horikawa's like, a real timely guy, so - we'll head out soon to look. [THAT DOESN'T ANSWER IT AT ALL but his expression probably gives away how concerned he is despite the evasiveness.]

[She's deathly afraid of finding another body, but she figures she owes Kashuu that much.]

[The offer seems to surprise him a little, considering he'd gotten the general impression that Clarine was definitely not keen on heading out with the search party.]

Ahhh, that's definitely not cute! [HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE A NANNY. Waving his hand in dismissal! And also standing up from the table at the same time, because he can't really manage to stomach anything either when he's this nervous (try as he might to pretend otherwise). He should start looking.]
